I came to know Terry at OSR in the summer of 2007. It was the first time I had served as an area director (Handicraft) and I was there with both of my children. My son had been a Merit Badge Counselor and so he already knew Terry. My daughter came with us at a time when BSA did not yet include girls. Terry was a great guy who did what he could to make all three of us comfortable at camp. I know he kept in touch as Seth would occasionally tell me about him. I'm sorry to hear of his passing, and wish to offer my condolences to his family and the OSR family.

Memories & Condolences
Community and connection were very important to Terry. To honor him and his legacy, we encourage people to use this space to share messages, memories, and connect with others that are also impacted by Terry, his life, and his absence.
Terry loved to bring people together and to connect different friend groups. So we would love it if people could continue those efforts here and on other platforms.
